“We built two homes in Wisconsin and were eager to build a home in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. Initially we were frustrated, after having started the process with two other builders. One was unreliable with their communications and the other was deceitful when we were developing our plans and getting pricing commitments. We knew we would be taking a risk since we were a 14 hour drive away from the construction site and needed a builder we could trust.

We were very fortunate when a realtor, (with no business relationship with Tom Eggers Construction (TEC)), recommended we give them a call. From the start, every interaction with Tom and his staff was very pleasant and professional. We were given excellent advice to develop a mountain-modern design with the floor plan we had been working with. Tom and Bradley spent time with us on-site to ensure the placement of the house gave us the best mountain views. Meghan provided excellent communication, ensuring our questions were given prompt attention and keeping us informed of our monthly expenses. Bradley helped us with the design elements, (door designs, flooring, tiles, stone, wood stains and wall colors), that greatly improved on what we were initially planning.

When construction started, we had a firm move-in target date since we had to move out of our Wisconsin home. We realize there are many challenges when building a custom home in the mountains but Bradley ensured our home was completed on time and within the budget we had agreed to. Based on Facebook postings from others in our development, this is not typical with other builders. Josh has done a great job of ensuring quality work during our construction and has been following up on every item on our punch list. We have heard this is also considered extraordinary service from a builder.
